Polymer Clay, Acrylic Paint, Digital Design

Lindsay Black is a local creator with an emphasis in Polymer Clay, Acrylic Paint, and Digital Design. A working artist and teacher in Sumner County, she has been creating art since she first learned to hold a pencil. Lindsay is a graduate of Gallatin High School and received her BFA and MAT from Belmont University. Currently, she makes her home in the Gallatin Historic District with her husband, her daughter, and their four pets!

Over the years, Lindsay has created backdrop murals for the Junior Service League, Sumner County Schools, local businesses, and - of course! - private residences. In 2009, she started to explore the use of polymer clay and has been creating miniature sculptures of homes and buildings since 2014 - in fact, she's sculpted over FIVE HUNDRED of these mini sculptures!

She has received national notice with these sculptures - even being featured by Michaels Stores! - and has won runner-up or first place for best artist/pottery studio in the Sumner County Main Street Awards several times over the years. Her brand goes by the name Oddly and Company.
