Glenn Hughes

Glenn Hughes, who specializes in Pen & Ink and Digital Illustration, is a lifelong Gallatin resident. He graduated from Gallatin High School in 1982 where he was encouraged artistically by his art teacher, Mrs. Dorris Bills!
Glenn received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1987 and post-college, worked for several years in graphic design before moving into government work. In this time, Glenn stopped creating art for many years but, with continued encouragement from his wife Jerrie, finally started drawing again.
Where does he get his inspiration? He has always enjoyed movies and record collecting, so - he drew what he loves! His focus became pop culture and music-related images. He mainly draws physically with pencil or pen and ink and in recent years has started coloring those images digitally and also creating purely digital artwork.
